We had a ShakeOut it was a earthquake practice we have to drop, cover, hold. Drop is when you have to go under the table, cover is when you have to cover your head because if something heavy drops on your leg your still be alive if something drops on your arm you will still be alive and if something drops on your head you will die so that’s why your head is the most important part of your body and lastly Hold, hold is when you hold the table leg so that the table doesn’t move around that can make no shelter for your head. If there is an earthquake Drop, cover, hold. we got a certificate after for the shakeout. What would you do in a real earthquake?.
This week we had Diwali Celebration. I made a Diya which is traditional way of making a lamp with clay. First, you make the sculpture of it and then you decorate it with paint and glitter Then, you smooth it up with water but just put a little bit on it. Lastly you leave it in the sun or somewhere else and let it dry. Then the art challenge which you have to draw Rangoli pattern on paper or Google drawing. Lastly the speaking challenge, you have to record yourself using the Indian language. My favourite part of my Diwali was that my class did a Indian dance, it wasn’t that long but I loved it. I had an amazing week.

We had Fiji language week! there were three challenges and I picked 1 that I did. The first challenge was obviously the Art challenge we did it all on Google drawing with the shapes but some people did it on paper and outlined it from the Chrome book too. The second challenge was the weaving challenge, we did it with leaves as the Fijian language and our class won! I was happy as everyone was too. And lastly the Fiji language recording and I did it with my friend Nevaeh, you have to talk in the Fijian language you can say the colours, numbers, useful phrases, and the days of the week. Me and Nevaeh said the days of the week and I still remember it. I think I had a great week.

We were celebrating Niuean Language Week! we did so much stuff like The art challenge, the art challenge was not hard I just tried to summit it on time because I keep missing it. We did Behold the coconut which is a traditional way to scrap a coconut and we made food out of it. Then we had the third one you have to introduce yourself or say the days of the week or the body part in Niue I didn’t do it but I think I learnt so many words and facts about niue and I think a awesome niuean language week
